I'm not particurly impressed with Klein. I'll start listening (to her) when she stops driving. And flying. And a whole lot of other things.

Sure, we need our spokespersons, no doubt, but they're not living the message (at all). They're more concerned with publishing another book or making another speech. And a lot of them are really interesting in self-promotion and fame.

I like what (some) have to say, but that's really not enough (in my book). Live the life. Practice what is being preached. Put it on the line.

Yes - that is exactly what I did. And no, I don't have any book deals or paid speaking engagements or paid travel or any such thing. But rather then preaching the 'gospel' but not living the message, I really am living what I taught to thousands. That will have more impact then a thousand speeches.

I agree so much with the idea of walking the talk. Anything else sends the wrong message. It becomes the commoner's reason for exceptionalism of the individual. We all get to collude and live as before until someone with some real influence really walks the walk, and we feel it is time. We aren't all anarchists, not that I would be all that opposed, but certainly if we are going to be the sheep that leadership would like us to be then, seriously, get us someone to break into a real lead down the real path to real anti-capitalism, anti-consumerism, pro-nature life.
